Setup takes about 10 minutes. You'll need your property name, your door labels (unit numbers), and your residents' email addresses if you want to invite them now.
1. Start your free trial
- On hellonido.com, choose a plan, or go to the signup page.
- Under 1. Choose your plan, pick Monthly or Annual · 2 months free, then choose a plan. Each plan shows how many doors it includes.
- Under 2. Your email, enter your Work email.
- Tap Start 14-day free trial.
- Add a card on Stripe's secure checkout page.
Nothing is charged for 14 days. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't pay.
2. Activate your account
- Open the email "Activate your HelloNido account" and tap Activate my account. The link works for 72 hours and only once.
- Enter Your name, a Password (at least 8 characters) and Confirm password.
- Tap Activate & continue.
If the link has expired, enter your signup email on the screen that opens and tap Send a new link.
3. Finish the setup wizard
The wizard has four steps: Property, Doors, Residents and Payouts. If you stop partway, it picks up where you left off next time you sign in.
Add your first property (required) Enter the Property name, an Address (optional) and the Timezone. Rent due dates, reminders and autopay all follow the property's local time. Tap Create property & continue.
Doors (at least one required) Add each unit with a Door label (for example 4B) and an optional Monthly rent. Tap Add another door for more, then Continue.
Invite residents (optional) Enter each resident's Full name and Email, choose their Door from the doors you just added, then tap Send invites & continue. Or tap Skip for now and invite them later.
Get paid (optional for now) Tap Set up payouts with Stripe to connect your bank account. You'll need this before residents can pay rent in the app. You can tap Skip for now and do it later.
What counts as a door
A door is any unit residents live in and rent is billed against. Vacant doors count too. Your plan includes a set number of doors, and you can see your usage on Home in the Plan usage card (for example, "12 of 25 doors used") when All Properties is selected.
After setup
Your tabs are Home, Messages, Maintenance, Polls and Profile. Good next steps:
