Data export puts records from properties you own into a zip file. Use it to keep a separate copy of your property, resident and payment information, along with uploaded documents.
Request an export
- Open Profile and tap Your data.
- Check the email address shown under Export my data. This is where the download link will be sent.
- Tap Export my data.
- Watch Latest export, or leave the screen and wait for the email. The archive is prepared in the background.
- Open the emailed link to download the zip before the displayed expiry time.
The download link normally works for 24 hours after the archive is ready. After expiry, the file is deleted and you can request another export.
What the archive includes
- CSV records for properties, doors, leases and residents.
- Rent charges and payments.
- Parking and storage spaces, space requests and maintenance requests.
- A document record list and a documents folder containing available uploaded files.
Amounts are in US dollars and timestamps are UTC. The archive is limited to properties owned by your account; selecting a property on Home does not turn it into an export of another owner's data.
Documents have a 500 MB export cap by default. If files are left out because of that cap, Latest export shows a warning and documents/CAPPED.txt inside the zip lists the omissions.
Read the status
- Queued: the export is waiting to run.
- Preparing: the archive is being built.
- Ready · emailed: the archive is ready; check the delivery information and expiry time.
- Failed: the export did not complete. Tap Retry export.
- Link expired: request a new archive.
If an email-delivery warning appears, check the address shown in Profile. An archive being ready does not guarantee its email arrived.
Request another copy
Within the 24-hour request window, another request reuses an export that is already queued, preparing or ready. Export my data again does not bypass that rule. A failed export can be retried without waiting for that window.
Good to know
- The full archive is available to the landlord account owner, not property managers. Residents have a separate payment-history CSV export.
- Keep the download email private: anyone holding its valid signed link can download that archive.
- If delivery or preparation keeps failing, email hey@hellonido.com.
