How to Find Your Lease in HelloNido

Your lease and other documents your landlord shared live in your resident portal. Open the Documents section to view or download them any time.

Lease & Forms holds files your property manager shares with you, including leases and forms. You can open those files and return a completed copy without searching through a separate email thread.

Find and open your lease

  1. On Home, tap Lease & Forms.
  2. Find the document by its title. Each card also shows the file name, size and publication date.
  3. Read any description from your property manager.
  4. Tap View to open the file.

If your lease is missing, ask your property manager to share it. The list shows uploaded documents; it does not create a lease file merely because your account has a rent schedule.

No documents yet means there are no shared documents available in your current account's view. Files intended only for another resident will not appear.

Return a completed copy

  1. Prepare the completed file on your device.
  2. On the original document's card, tap Submit filled copy.
  3. Tap Choose a file and select your completed copy.
  4. Tap Submit. Your property manager is notified after the upload succeeds.

Accepted files are PDF, DOCX, PNG and JPG, with a 20 MB file-size limit. Choose a nonempty file in one of those formats. The upload is attached to the original document you selected, so check the title before submitting.

Check the result

  • Submitted — awaiting review: your latest copy was uploaded and has not yet been marked received.
  • Received ✓: management has acknowledged the latest submitted copy.

Under Your submitted copies, tap a returned file to open it again. Each copy has its own sent time and a Submitted or Received status. This lets you check the actual file you returned rather than only reopening the original blank document.

Send a correction

After a submission, the document's upload action becomes Submit again. Use it to send another copy when needed. Earlier submitted copies remain listed; sending a new one does not silently remove the old file.

Good to know

  • You can read documents shared with the whole property or directly with you, plus your own returned copies. You cannot read another resident's private submissions.
  • Management controls the shared library and acknowledges receipt. If they delete a library document, its attached submissions are also removed.
  • For app help, email hey@hellonido.com; ask your property manager about a missing or incorrect lease.
